Have a go on the apple shy, create a creature from apples and warm up with a mulled apple juice from the fire. Come along to help us press the apples from the orchard, and taste the tart juice. Plus pick some apples to cook up at home.

Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event.

Take your apples to Solland Farm the week before and they will create a very special parish cider to commemorate the 475th anniversary of the Prayerbook Rebellion.

Pick Apples on Sunday 1st October at West Town Farm or Donate surplus apples on 30th September to the Village Hall.

Originally conceived by Orchards Live 32 years ago the Rosemoor Apple Day is now run by RHS as their biggest annual celebration of orchard fruit. Featuring stalls, talks and the Heritage Orchard. Orchards Live will display local apples, apple pressing and books.

Love Food CiC in partnership with Alphington Community Association and will be holding an Alphington Apple Day on Saturday 21 October 2-4pm at Alphington Village Hall. If you have any spare apples to donate, or would like to help with apple picking at West Town Farm please get in touch.

Clovelly Apple Day

A day out at this wonderful and historical village is made even more magical with a host of activities for the whole family. There will be a farmer’s market, live music, apple bobbing, apple stamping and corn dolly-making. Crafts and activities take place in the Visitor Centre between 11am and 4pm – bring your apples for some creative arts
